Regatta.
Morning!
I hate days like today.. we’ve got a “Royal Visit” from the big boss, Dominic, and our “Regional Business Manager”, Tracy. So everyone will be on edge and stressy until they arrive and then all sweetness and light until they leave and then resentful and grumpy afterwards! They’re bound to say something to piss someone off these big bosses.. they always do!
Oh well… it’s kinda not my problem anymore :) I feel kind of guilty because I could help out more and give them a hand but Jessops hasn’t exactly been the kind and loving job it used to be back in the day. They don’t give a shit about us so why should we give a shit about them, eh?
ANYWAY.. enough of that :)
Finally get a day off tmrw where I’m not ill :) we are going out tonight for the opening of the Harbour Festival/Festival of the Sea/Regatta or whatever it’s called nowadays! Candi Staton is opening it apparently.. it’s alright I didn’t know who she was originally either :P but I told Hannah she could stay the night.. which’ll be nice cuz she can have a drink but on the downside.. I’m sleeping on the sofa and she has to be at work for 8.30am and I was planning on a lie in, lol :) if she’s true to form she won’t come anyway but I always give her the benefit of the doubt!
I’ve never actually been to the HF/FotS/R on it’s opening night before as I’m usually the last person to go on it’s closing day when it’s generally raining and there’s nobody about :( so it’ll be an experience and I think I’m going tmrw too so looking forward to that :D might even get some pictures taken!
