Afternoon!
Well i’ve finished another Friday shift so I’m one day closer to retirement :D I should have finished at 2.15 but I just fluttered my eyelashes at Stew and he let me go at 2pm. Well, I did start work at 8.30am but cuz it wasn’t sanctioned by anyone it doesn’t count apparently! But I still went at 2 :P
Now I’m off to the bank.. the bank manager is a-calling! It’s probably nothing to worry about.. they’ll just want to know why I routinely go over my set authorised overdraft by about £24s each month. I wonder if “cuz I’m not paid enough” will be a valid excuse? I don’t know what to do though overdraft wise.. increasing it to £100 will help but I’m out of pocket £350-odd as it is with my hours being cut and with college looming..? Hmm.
I’ve asked mum to come with me as a responsible adult. Lol. Yes, I’m aware I’m nearly 28 but I’m notoriously bad with money! I couldn’t have a bank account for 6-odd years because I owed Lloyds £88.44 and they didn’t tell me and they closed my account then I was too scared to try and open another incase they needed an arm or a leg as collaterol (sp?) or summat! Unlikely, I know, but you hear stories! I can’t help chuckling at the mental image of me turning up at home with a bright pink pony after being given “free money” by the bank (Alan Carr stylee) while at the same time a baliff knocks on my front door! Apparently mum reckons that I’m not that stupid (neither are the banks according to her.. who was it that lent money they didn’t have again causing the world to self-destruct?!) so I didn’t need anyone to come with me! Still bricking it a bit tho :(
I’ve just re-read that entire block and realised my English teacher at Henbury would probably die at the poor grammar and punctuation.. if he wasn’t dead already, I mean! :)
So anyway.. :) nearly in Westbury! ARGH! I should probably to into Blockbusters and get myself a new membership card and purchase some DVDs for this evening as me and my brother are being left to our own devises for a while tonight! It’ll help me calm myself before I see this Suzie person! Think I should get a couple of chick flicks? :D
